Term of up to 3 years
The term is based on the project and repayment plan, up to a maximum of 3 years.
Up to 75% of the collateral value

How funding and repayment work.

  1. Receive the funds

Once the funding campaign is complete and the mortgage is in place, the funds are transferred to the company's account under the agreed terms.

  2. Pay the interest

Quarterly, or on another schedule agreed in the contract, throughout the loan term.

  3. Repay the principal

At the end of the term, you settle the principal and any outstanding amounts. We then arrange for the mortgage to be discharged.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the key questions about financing your project.

Talk to the team
How does it differ from development financing?

A bridge loan meets a temporary need until the property is sold or permanent financing is secured. Development financing supports the stages of construction or renovation. Our team helps identify a suitable structure for the project.

How should I prepare the repayment plan?

Explain where the funds to repay the loan will come from, such as a property sale or long-term financing. Include the expected timeline, supporting documents, company information and proposed collateral.

Does the collateral have to be the project property?

Not necessarily. You can propose another property or several properties as collateral. Acceptance depends on the valuation, legal review and agreed terms of the transaction.

Can I repay before the end of the term?

Yes, you can repay early without fees or penalties. Simply let our team know so we can coordinate repayment and discharge of the mortgage.
